About me
My name is Daria Baklykova. I am 38 years old. The idea to become an artist came to me about six years ago. Since then, I studied, tried different approaches in painting, and searched for my own themes.Over time, I realized that I’m drawn to simplicity: minimalism, clean color planes, and calm compositions. In my work, there are no big events — only a gesture, a look, or a mood.I don’t think of myself as an academic artist. I don’t try to prove anything or follow strict rules. I simply paint — sometimes quiet, sometimes slightly ironic, sometimes very personal.
